Global Service Resources is looking for a licensed and skilled Occupational Therapist to work in Los Angeles, CA!
Position: Occupational Therapist – Enriched Residential Care (ERC) Location: Los Angeles, CA 90033 Pay: $55-$60/hour
Overview:
The OT provides short-term, field-based therapy for individuals in Enriched Residential Care (ERC) facilities who have experienced homelessness and present with complex medical, cognitive, or behavioral health needs. Under supervision, the OT conducts assessments, delivers interventions, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to support placement, daily living skills, and transitions to more independent housing. Assignments vary by program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct OT evaluations (ADL/IADL, functional cognition, safety, and support needs).
Deliver individualized interventions: ADL retraining, fall prevention, equipment/environmental recommendations.
Support client stabilization and transitions from ERC to other housing settings.
Collaborate with case managers, nurses, and housing providers.
Document care, update plans, and contribute to program improvement.
Provide student supervision and assist with training activities.
Requirements:
Licensed Occupational Therapist in California.
Graduation from ACOTE-accredited OT program.
Valid California Class C Driver’s License (or alternative transportation).
Fieldwork/early career experience in homelessness, public health, or community-based OT preferred.
Knowledge of functional cognition, behavioral health, substance use, and disability impacts.
Commitment to equity, diversity, and trauma-informed care.
Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in field-based settings.
Spanish language skills a plus.
Physical Class: 3 – Moderate.
