Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant for Pelican Bay State Prison in Crescent City, CA.
Position: CNA or MA Location: Crescent City, CA 95532 Hours: 6:30 am - 5:00 pm (Monday - Thursday / Tuesday - Friday) Contract: 23 weeks Pay Rate: $38-$40/hour Estimated Start Date: 05/26/25
Requirements:
12 months of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years.
Valid California Nursing Assistant Certificate.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
Proficient in English (oral and written communication).
Some Duties Include:
Assist with daily living activities and provide nursing care.
Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the RN.
Collect specimens and assist with patient transfers and specialty appointments.
Complete required documentation and maintain equipment and supplies.
Copies of personal documents and references will be collected. Must pass drug test and background check. Must have recent shots, immunizations, TB Test, etc...
