Day shift – 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Monday - Friday
Must be Flexible to work on Weekends and Holidays
Pay Rate: $45/hr-$46/hrÂ
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform echocardiograms, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, to evaluate heart function, blood flow, and overall heart health.
Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, and ensure their comfort throughout the examination.
Operate ultrasound equipment to capture accurate images of the heart, ensuring high-quality diagnostic results.
Analyze and interpret echocardiogram images, working closely with cardiologists to assist in diagnosis.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including test results, and ensure compliance with medical protocols.
Ensure proper equipment maintenance and troubleshoot issues with the ultrasound machines.
Adhere to patient safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
Provide support in preparing for and assisting during various cardiac procedures, including stress testing and other diagnostic tests.
Stay current with the latest technology and advancements in echocardiography.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Valid RDCS or CCI and BLS from AHA
Must have 2+ years of experience, at least 1 year of hospital experience
