Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Physical Therapist for a contract for LA County's Department of Public Health.
Location: Palmdale, CAÂ 93550 Pay Rate: $69 to $73/hour on W2. Hours: TBD Hours per week: 20 to 30 hours/week
Requirements:
Must be a state-paneled therapist
BLS
Must have pediatric experience
Must have experience
Must be able to work in the US and pass background/drug check
A. Patient Care
1. Assessment
Performs evaluations based on clinical findings and agency guidelines
Makes appropriate recommendations and referrals per assessment findings
2. Treatment
Determines functional goals and develops treatment plan
Uses treatment approaches appropriate to the patient’s needs
Evaluates the effectiveness of treatment approach indicated
Identifies and monitors patients’ equipment needs
Fabricates splints and adaptive equipment
Consults with care/service providers regarding patient’s therapy status
Provides instruction to care providers regarding therapy-related equipment and treatment program
3. Documentation
Completes required agency documentation including running notes; therapy assessments and plans; classroom, home and other therapy-related programs
B. Case Management
Provides input to the clinic team and participates in the coordination of related services for assigned patients
Performs procedures to support patient care including equipment/service authorizations and follow-up
Administration
Performs delegated unit administrative duties.

Please note: There will be no paid time off, but you will receive 5 paid sick days after 90 days of employment. You will also have the option to sign up for Kaiser healthcare +vision and Delta Dental after 90 days of employment.
