Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a Memorial Hospital in Indio, CA.
Position: Contract ICU RN Location: Indio, CA 92201 Hours: 36 hours/week. 7PM to 7:30AM. Must be able to work every other weekend. Contract: 13 Weeks with a high chance of extension Pay Rate: $72-$76/hour Estimated Start Date: As soon as onboarded
Requirements:
-2 years ICU RN experience in an inpatient/acute care hospital setting required
--Must be willing to float
-CA RN License in hand
-Other required certificates/Licenses: (BLS, NIHSS, ACLS)
-Float Requirement: as needed in skillset including Telemetry and Med Surg
-Tele Interpretation
-Ventilators experience
Some Duties Include:
-Monitoring and assessing patients at least every hour
-Patient repositioning and skin integrity checks
-Wound care
-Ventilatory management
-Medication administration
-Tracheostomy and ventilator care
-Intravenous insertion and infusion
-Central line care
-Swan-Ganz catheters
-Advanced cardiac life support
-Providing emotional support to patients and family members
-Constant critical thinking and preparation for every possible care scenario
-Other ICU RN duties assigned by supervisor
Copies of personal documents and references will be collected. Must pass drug test and background check. Must have recent shots, immunizations, TB Test, etc...
