Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for Olive View-UCLA Medical Center in Sylmar, CA. This is open for Inpatient setting.
Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist Location: Sylmar, CA 91342 Schedule: Rotating schedule, 24/7 facility, must be available to work any shift. Monday to Friday, weekends as needed. Pay rate: $75-$78/hour
Requirements:
Must have 1+ years of Inpatient experience.
Must have Pharmacist License/RPh.
Basic Life Support from AHA.
Job duties include:
Accurately dispense prescription medications as prescribed by physicians.
Review prescriptions for errors and ensure proper dosage, form, and instructions
Educate patients on potential side effects, interactions, and precautions associated with their medications.
Maintain proper inventory of medications, ensuring that medications are stored and handled according to regulations.
Ensure timely ordering of medications and track expiration dates to prevent waste.
Handle controlled substances in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Ensure that all activities comply with federal, state, and local pharmacy laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation, controlled substances, and other regulatory documentation.
Stay current with changes in pharmacy laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Keep up to date with the latest developments in pharmaceutical research, drugs, and therapies.
Copies of personal documents and references will be collected. Must pass drug test and background check. Must have recent shots, immunizations, TB Test, etc...
