Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse for a Hi-Desert Continuing Care Center in Joshua Tree, CA.
Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (Per Diem) Location: Joshua Tree, CA 92252 Hours: 12 Hours Shifts only. Per Diem. Work as little or as many days as you'd like. Choose your days/nights Pay rate: $38-$40/hour on W2
Requirements:
1 full year of experience as an LVN in a sub-acute setting
LVN License
BLS
Must pass background check and drug test
Position Summary:
Coordinates resident nursing care in the Subacute Unit.
Physical Demands:
Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching.
Heavy physical effort (lift/carry up to 50lbs).
Lifts, positions and/or transfers residents.
Occasional prolonged standing and walking.
Occasionally lift supplies/equipment
Some Duties Include:
Contact with residents/patients/visitors under wide variety of circumstances.
May be exposed to infections/contagious diseases.
Regularly exposed to risk of blood borne diseases.
Requires judgment/action which could result in the death of a resident.
Other long-term care duties to residents who require assistance with personal and medical needs.
Copies of personal documents and references will be requested. Must have recent shots, immunizations, TB Test and Fit Test done already- if not, you must update them on your own. Our registry will cover the drug and background check. Interview and onboarding process may take anywhere between 3 to 7 weeks.
