Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse Type of Job: Per Diem Location:Â 100 Folsom Prison Rd, Represa, CA 95671 Pay Range: $51-53/hour
Note: Training will be 1 week and must be flexible and open during training.
Shifts Available:
1:30 pm – 10:00 pm – 1 opening for Tuesday – Friday and 1 opening for Sunday – Thursday
5:30 am – 2:00 pm – 1 opening for Tuesday – Saturday and 1 opening for Friday – Tuesday
Job Summary:
Seeking a Per Diem LVN to provide direct patient care at a California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation facility in Represa, CA. The LVN will work under the supervision of a designated healthcare professional, delivering healthcare services within the scope of practice and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide basic hygiene and nursing care, including medication administration and treatments.
Collect patient information and report to the Primary Care Provider (PCP) or RN.
Educate patients and document care accurately.
Assist with clinic appointments, minor surgeries, and diagnostic testing.
Support mental health treatment planning and monitor patient progress.
Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: 12 months of direct patient care within the last 3 years.
Licensure: Valid California LVN license.
Certification: Current BLS from AHA or Red Cross (with AED).
Competency: Completion of competency validation per Title 22 requirements.
Compliance: Must meet N95/PAPR medical clearance and respiratory protection training requirements.
Language: Proficient in English (oral and written).
