Job Description
Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Mammography Tech.
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90003
Contract: Indefinite contract based on performance and attendance.
Shift: Sunday 8:00am – 4:30
Monday Tuesday Wednesday Friday 10:00am-6:30pm
Off Saturday and Thursday
Pay Rate: $56-$58/hr
Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established safety and procedures.
- Perform mammography examinations and radiographs.
- Perform radiographs and blood tests.
- Perform blood draws and draw patient histories.
- Maintain equipment and maintain knowledge of its proper use.
- Follow all HIPAA regulations and regulations of state health regulations as applicable to health care operations.
- Participate in patient education, including patient education programs on pre-operative, post-operative, and follow-up visits.
- Participate in the preparation of patients prior to the procedure, including prepping rooms, instruments, and medical equipment.
- Prepare instruments for examination, including preparing X-rays, preparing instruments for radiographs, and preparing rooms for examination.
- Prepare supplies for examinations including lab supplies, supplies for radiographs, and supplies for treatment rooms.
- Ensure that all examinations are performed according to established guidelines for each procedure.
- Ensure that all examination rooms are prepared appropriately for each procedure.
- Ensure that all post-procedure instructions are followed and documented in accordance with established guidelines for each procedure.
- Assists with treatment room activities including assisting radiologist with examinations, treatment room cleanliness, inventorying supplies, ordering supplies, etc. as required.

Requirements
- Must have Mammo License and CRT/Fluoro certificate
- Minimum two (2) years of recent experience (within the last 12 months) as a Mammography Technologist
- BLS from AHA
