Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Pharmacy Tech to work in San Diego, CA!
Job Title: Pharmacy Tech Location: San Diego, CA, 92179 Schedule: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Needed Monday to Friday)
*Orientation 2 weeks, Mon-Fri 8am-4pm Pay Range: $20-$21/hourÂ
Requirements:
At least 12 months of experience within the last 3 years in a similar role (public or private institution).
Active California Pharmacy Technician license (Board of Pharmacy).
Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing skills required).
Job Duties Include:
Work under a Pharmacist’s supervision following Federal, State, and facility policies.
Receiving and processing prescription/medical orders.
Creating and updating patient medical profiles.
Checking prescriptions for accuracy and legality.
Compounding and preparing medications.
Labeling, packaging, and recording medication information.
Managing drug and supply inventory.
Delivering medications to clinics and reviewing stock for expired drugs.
Assisting with therapy-related issues under pharmacist direction.
Performing other assigned pharmacy-related duties.
