Global Service Resources in looking for an experience Pharmacy Tech in Tehachapi, CA!
Job title: Pharmacy Tech Location: Tehachapi, CA 93561 Schedule: Mon-Fri/8:00 AM -4:30 PM
*Orientation is 2 weeks Duration: 28 weeks Payrate: $24/hour
Qualifications:
At least 12 months of relevant experience within the past 3 years.
Must have a current and valid California Pharmacy Technician license.
Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding).
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and process prescriptions/medical orders.
Collect patient information (e.g., diagnosis, allergies, medical history).
-Verify prescriptions for accuracy, authenticity, and legality.
-Enter prescription details into patient profiles.
Calibrate equipment and compound medications as prescribed.
Measure/count dosage forms and package medications.
Prepare and apply proper labels and auxiliary labels.
Perform intermediate prescription checks during processing.
Maintain and manage drug/supply inventory and records.
Deliver medications to clinics and nursing staff.
Review pharmacy stock for expired drugs.
Assist pharmacists in resolving patient therapy issues.
Perform other assigned pharmacy-related duties.
