At least 12 continuous months within the last 3 years in a similar role in a public or private facility.
Must hold a valid California Physical Therapy license from the Physical Therapy Board of California.
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
Must be proficient in English (spoken and written).
Job Duties include:
Provide physical therapy services per physician orders or direct access for existing diagnoses.
Perform assessments, develop treatment plans, and communicate them effectively.
Document evaluations and progress notes using CDCR-approved forms.
Maintain up-to-date patient charts; failure to update within 10 days may result in termination.
Be available for telephone consultations while on duty.
Follow CDCR policies and evidence-based practices in line with the scope of licensure.
