Global Service Resources is looking for dedicated Physical Therapist!
Position: Physical Therapist Facility:Â Joseph Pomeroy Widney Career Center Location:Â Los Angeles CA, 90018 Hour: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday to Friday) Contract:Â Until June 30th but will most likely extend until June 2026Â Pay rate: $75-$76.50/hour
Requirements:
Must be a state-paneled therapistÂ
BLSÂ
Must have pediatric experienceÂ
Must have experienceÂ
Must be able to work in the US and pass background/drug check.Â
A. Patient Care 1. AssessmentÂ
Performs evaluations based on clinical findings and agency guidelines.Â
Makes appropriate recommendations and referrals per assessment findings.Â
2. TreatmentÂ
Determines functional goals and develops treatment plan.Â
Uses treatment approaches appropriate to the patient’s needs.Â
Evaluates the effectiveness of treatment approach indicated.Â
Identifies and monitors patients’ equipment needs.Â
Fabricates splints and adaptive equipment.Â
Consults with care/service providers regarding patient’s therapy status.Â
Provides instruction to care providers regarding therapy-related equipment and treatment programÂ
3. DocumentationÂ
Completes required agency documentation including running notes; therapy assessments and plans; classroom, home and other therapy-related programs.Â
B. Case ManagementÂ
1. Provides input to the clinic team and participates in the coordination of related services for assigned patients.Â
2. Performs procedures to support patient care including equipment/service authorizations and follow-up.Â
3. AdministrationÂ
Performs delegated unit administrative duties.Â

Copies of personal documents and references will be collected. Must pass drug test and background check. Must have recent shots, immunizations, TB Test, etc.Â

 Please note: There will be no paid time off, but you will receive 5 paid sick days after 90 days of employment. You will also have the option to sign up for Kaiser healthcare +vision and Delta Dental after 90 days of employment.Â
