Global Service Resources, Inc.,*a leading Healthcare staffing company has an opening for a Radiologic Technologist position at Los Angeles General Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. This is a full-time position.
*Hours: Night shift (12am-8:30am) M-F and must be available weekends and holidays
Pay Rate: $69-$70/hr.
Some Duties Include:
* Performs digital radiographic procedures limited to the scope of practice (chest, extremities and torso-skeletal). Skull preferred but not required
* Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history, confirming purpose of visit.
* Secures patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records; completing diagnostic coding and procedure coding; keeping patient information confidential.
* Counsels patients by transmitting physician's orders and questions about follow- up appointments.
* Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
* Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications.
Requirements:
-Over 1 year of experience as a Rad Tech in a hospital setting
-ARRT License
-Fluoroscopy License
-BLS from American Heart Association
-Must be able to pass background check.
