Job Description

Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner in Ione, CA!

Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner
Location: Ione, CA 95640
*Orientation is 1-3 weeks
Payrate: $42/hour

Qualifications:
  • 1 year of recent experience in a similar setting within the last 3 years
  • Valid California license from the Respiratory Care Board and credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program
  • Compliance with 8 CCR 5199 respiratory protection standards (N95/PAPR medical clearance & training)
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written communication)

Duties:
  • Provide care based on evidence-based practices
  • Set up and instruct patients on respiratory equipment
  • Perform medical evaluations and recommend treatments
  • Maintain daily charting (delinquencies over 10 days may lead to termination)
  • Assist in developing respiratory care policies and procedures
  • Assess and recommend equipment needs
  • Submit training documents for in-service courses
  • Perform special assignments as needed (e.g., quality improvement, utilization reviews)
