PAYRATE: $60-$65/hour W2
DESCRIPTION
THE SQL SERVER DBA SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING TECHNICAL SKILLS:
SQL Server versions 2016 through 2022
Idera Database Management Tools
SQL Server BI stack (SSRS, PowerBI, SSIS, SSAS)
SQL Server Always Groups 2016 and newer
SQL Server database features including TDE, TLS, Certificates, relational modeling, partitioning, gMSA, DTC and indexing
Migrate and manage databases in MS Azure or equivalent
Ability to configure and maintain backups utilizing on premise and cloud based tools
Proficient in Database Performance Tuning and Troubleshooting utilizing on premise and cloud based tools
Accomplished in coding, tuning and maintaining custom ETL applications
Proficient with Active Directory Integration, Kerberos, SPNs, and PowerShell
Skilled in SQL and TSQL code reviews
THE SQL SERVER DBA SHALL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SOFT SKILLS:
Knowledgable in SDLC Change management including maintenance of multiple development, test, QA, and production environments
Skilled in deploying approved changes to production
Versed in working with development project teams to design and implement database solutions to meet business requirements
Able to develop and implement Database security policies and procedures in line with applicable governance
Ability to work and coordinate with teams of diverse domain disciplines. (e.g. finance, healthcare, security, network operations, system admins., developers)
Skilled in the development of in-house custom installation and configuration guides
Efficient in end to end processing and resolution of work requests and trouble tickets
Able to provide consultation, training, and knowledge transfer to staff
Versed in drafting/formulating documentation of policies, procedures, and standards relating to database management.
Knowledgable in IT and Data Security Requirements such as HIPAA and STIGs

2 years or more experience installing, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting and maintaining Idera Inventory Manager
2 years or more experience installing, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting and maintaining Idera Compliance Manager
2 years or more experience installing, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting and maintaining Idera SQL Secure
2 years or more experience installing, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting and maintaining Idera Workload Analysis
5 years or more experience installing, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting and maintaining Idera Diagnostic Manager
5 years or more experience installing, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting and maintaining Idera SQL Safe
10 Years or more experience installing, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting and maintaining SQL Server in large scale environments
10 years or more experience installing, configuring, tuning, troubleshooting and maintaining SQL Server BI stack (SSRS, PowerBI, SSIS, SSAS)
7 years or more experience with SQL Server database features including Availability Groups, TDE, TLS, Certificates, relational modeling, partitioning, gMSA, DTC, indexing
7 years or more experience coding and supporting custom in-house applications in the areas of ETL processes, data replication, data modeling, data security, and database management by utilizing various developmental tools
1 year or more experience working with Natural Language to SQL Queries
1 year or more experience working with Copilot for SQL Databases
The SQL Farm supports critical patient care systems that are 24/7/365 therefore must be willing to provide support as needed after hours, on weekends and holidays. The position is a hybrid work environment, partly in the physical workplace, and partly remotely. The physical office location is Downtown Los Angeles, CA. A live scan is required for this position.
