Global Service Resources is looking for a contractor for LA County.
Job Title: Senior Application Programmer – Mainframe Systems 758 Location: Downey, CA, 90242 Shift: Standard (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Hours per week: 40 hours Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or possibility of direct hire with LA County) Payrate: $70-75/hour
Description:
Lead and support complex mainframe application development and maintenance.
Analyze system requirements, design architecture, write/debug code, and ensure quality.
?Responsible for system integration, documentation, and adherence to security policies.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in mainframe systems development.
Strong experience with IMS, DB2, COBOL, JCL, and CICS.
Proficiency in tools/utilities likeTSO/ISPF, SPUFI, CA Endevor, and others.
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
Must have strong communication and documentation skills.
