Location: 7515 Van Nuys Blvd, Van Nuys, CA 91405
Ultrasound Tech with a specialty in Vascular ultrasound.Â
Hours: Part-time, 7:30am - 4:30pm, or 11:30am - 8pm
Pay Rate: $46/hr
Vascular technologists work with doctors to assess a patient's vascular health. They are responsible for preparing patients for diagnostic procedures, performing noninvasive ultrasound tests, and reviewing ultrasound images.
Responsibilities:
Obtaining personal information and medical history from patients.
Preparing treatment areas for ultrasound tests, as well as situating patients on ultrasound tables.
Patients' understanding of ultrasonography operations.
Using non-invasive ultrasound techniques to identify diseases or problems of blood veins, arteries, or vessels.
Making equipment changes to generate high-quality ultrasound images for clinicians to interpret.
Assessing diagnostic information and comparing patients' most current scans to earlier results. Â
Preparing and delivering summary ultrasound findings to clinicians on time.
Handling hazardous substances and biological waste in accordance with regulations, as well as sterilizing equipment.
