Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Phlebotomist in Blythe, CA.
Job Title: Phlebotomist Location: Blythe, CA 92225 Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pay rate: $25-$26/hour
Licensing & Compliance:
Must hold a current, valid California Phlebotomy license (CDPH-LFS).
All certifications must be kept current and provided to Management Solution.
Licenses must be renewed at least 30 days before expiration; failure to comply may result in termination.
Must be free from disciplinary actions and in compliance with 8 CCR 5199 respiratory protection standards.
Qualifications:
Minimum 6 months of relevant experience (within the last 3 years; internships excluded).
Must be proficient in English (written and verbal communication).
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and finger sticks using standard equipment.
Collect, label, process, and store blood and non-blood specimens.
Communicate procedures clearly to patients/youth.
Maintain inventory, follow safety protocols, and ensure specimen integrity.
Assist with difficult blood draws and maintain accurate records.
Knowledge Requirements:
Venipuncture techniques, lab specimen handling, and safety practices.
Medical terminology and infection control.
Understanding of blood components, proper labeling, and cross-contamination prevention.
