Global Service Resources is looking for a contractor in Los Angeles.
Job Title: Audio Video Security Systems Technician 822 Location: Los Angeles, CA 90063 Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire) Pay rate: $40-$45/hour
Responsibilities:
Provides AV setup and support for meetings, press events, and special functions
Installs, configures, tests, maintains, and repairs AV and security systems
Works with PA systems, intercoms, CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and life-safety systems
Supports video conferencing systems (IP-based, codecs, cameras, mixers, displays, servers)
Maintains integrated AV and security systems using PLC-based controls
Provides technical support when equipment is moved, added, or modified
Installs and removes cabling, patch panels, jacks, and wire management systems
Coordinates work with other trades and technical teams
Performs physical tasks including lifting (10–25+ lbs), ladder use, and frequent bending/reaching
Qualifications:
3+ years installing and maintaining AV, intercom, CCTV, and security systems in commercial/industrial/institutional settings
1+ year of journey-level experience
Knowledge of AV, CCTV, intercom, access control, intrusion detection, and teleconferencing systems
Skilled in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and system repair
Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
High School diploma or GED
Valid California Driver’s License (Class C, no restrictions)
Must meet physical and visual requirements for field work
