Description:
Analyze business systems and processes to identify improvements and solutions.
Conduct needs analyses, feasibility studies, and business process reengineering.
Gather, refine, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Define system scope, objectives, requirements, and specifications.
Develop business cases and cost estimates for IT solutions.
Ensure integration of systems, policies, procedures, training, databases, software, and hardware.
Conduct testing, support system implementation, and provide post-implementation support.
Apply information security policies and practices throughout the analysis process.
Qualifications:
5+ years of analytical experience on IT projects.
3+ years of business systems analysis and design experience.
Bachelor’s degree required; additional experience may substitute year-for-year.
Knowledge of systems analysis, design, cost-benefit analysis, IT architecture, and technical documentation.
Experience with business processes, workflows, systems development, and process improvement.
Strong knowledge of IT technologies and system lifecycle management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must reside in California or a nearby state.
Preferred Skills:
Strong analytical, testing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent business and technical documentation skills.
Proficient in Scrum methodology and Azure DevOps.
3+ years documenting business processes using flowcharts, swim lanes, data flows, and use cases.
3+ years capturing requirements in Azure using Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria.
3+ years analyzing processes and documenting improvements using Dynamics 365 and Azure capabilities.
