Job Description:
Leads development of a full Data Science Program to support data-driven decision-making and advanced analytics.
Provides training, mentorship, and guidance to junior team members.
Drives adoption of predictive analytics, AI solutions, and Databricks (or similar).
Translates complex technical concepts into actionable insights; collaborates with Data Engineering and Data Management teams.
Manages multiple priorities with strong organization, communication, and quality assurance skills.
Ensures high-quality deliverables and supports team growth through structured mentorship.
Qualifications:
5+ yrs leading data science initiatives (ML models, statistical analysis, production workflows).
3+ yrs using Databricks or similar cloud analytics platforms.
2+ yrs implementing MLOps (MLflow, CI/CD, model monitoring, automated pipelines).
2+ yrs collaborating with data engineering on pipelines and Lakehouse/warehouse architectures.
2+ yrs mentoring or supervising junior data science staff.
2+ yrs Python & SQL experience with major relational databases.
1+ yr operationalizing analytics within enterprise governance/compliance frameworks.
Education: Master’s in Data Science, Statistics, CS, or related field (experience may substitute).
Certifications (required): One of the following — Azure DP-100, Databricks ML/Data Scientist, AWS ML Specialty, Google Professional Data Engineer, or similar.
