Job Title: Project Manager 801 Location: Alhambra, CA 91803 Shift: 7:15 AM - 6:00 PM Assignment type: Temporary (12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire) Pay rate: $65-$70/hour
Job Description:
Manages/oversees IT projects under a Senior PM or agency lead; works with mid-level stakeholders.
Defines scope, requirements, and deliverables; develops and executes project plans; coordinates resources and activities; monitors risks; ensures QA; and provides project presentations/updates.
Conducts studies and analyses (feasibility, cost-benefit, compliance); manages change control; supports security plans; ensures training and documentation are delivered.
Qualifications:
Strong skills in leadership, communication, problem-solving, requirements analysis, project management, QA, risk management, IT planning, architecture, and systems lifecycle.
Minimum 5 years progressively responsible PM experience.
At least 3 years in a lead role.
Bachelor’s degree and valid PMP certification (required; cannot be substituted).
Additional qualifying experience may substitute for education (except PMP).
Preferred Skills and Experience:
5+ years designing project governance frameworks and BA standards.
5+ years as a BA creating technical documentation (intake, workflows, change requests).
5+ years using MS Visio + 2 other diagram/workflow/mocking tools.
5+ years using MS Project/Project Online + 2 other PM tools.
5+ years managing cross-functional, multi-stakeholder projects involving organizational change.
CBAP (IIBA), ITIL 4 Strategic Leader or higher, and Portfolio Management Professional certifications preferred.
