Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Radiology Tech in Detroit, MI.
Job Title: Radiology Tech Location: Detroit, MI 48235 Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM Payrate: $60-$63/hour
Responsibilities:
Performs diagnostic radiology exams using appropriate imaging equipment
Verifies patient identity and reviews medical records for exam appropriateness
Interviews patients to obtain/update medical history and assess risk factors (e.g., medications, pregnancy)
Explains procedures, including risks, benefits, side effects, and follow-up care
Prepares equipment and captures images according to protocol
Reviews images, notes exceptions, and communicates findings to the radiologist
Responds to medical emergencies as needed
Provides post-procedure care instructions as prescribed
Participates in quality improvement (patient care, flow, repeat analysis, satisfaction)
Educates residents, students, and new staff on imaging procedures
Available for on-call/standby duties as required
Qualifications:
ARRT registered in Radiology (R)
BLS (AHA Healthcare Provider)
2 years Radiologic Technologist experience
