Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Radiology Tech in Detroit, MI.
Job Title: Radiology Tech Location: Detroit, MI 48201 Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM Payrate: $61-$63/hour
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiology exams using appropriate imaging equipment.
Verify patient identity, review medical records, and assess exam appropriateness.
Obtain and update patient history; evaluate risk factors such as medications and pregnancy.
Explain procedures, risks, benefits, alternatives, and post-procedure instructions.
Operate imaging equipment and acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
Review images, document protocol exceptions, and communicate findings to radiologists.
Recognize and respond to medical emergencies when necessary.
Participate in quality improvement, patient flow, and patient satisfaction initiatives.
Educate residents, students, and new staff on imaging procedures.
Take call and standby assignments as required by the department.
Qualifications:
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography (R)
BLS Certification
Minimum of 2 years experience
