Global Service Resources is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a Correctional Facility in San Luis Obispo, CA!
Job Title:Â Registered Nurse Location:Â San Luis Obispo, CA 93409 Schedule: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday to Friday) Payrate:Â $80/hour
Job duties include:
Plan and implement patient care, administer medications, perform treatments, and collect diagnostic specimens.
Participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning and assist physicians in procedures.
Observe and assess patients, document care, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
Maintain accurate medical records and patient education documentation.
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment, maintaining order and supervising patient conduct.
Licensing & Compliance Requirements:
Must hold a valid California RN license and current American Heart Association BLS certification.
Must provide:Â

Clinical Competency/Skills Checklist
All licenses and certifications must remain active and current throughout the contract.
Renewals must be submitted 30 days before expiration.
Vendor must verify that the RN’s license has no disciplinary actions.
Must comply with 8 CCR 5199 respiratory protection standards, including N95/PAPR clearance and annual training.
Qualifications:
Minimum 12 months of experience in the last 3 years in a similar healthcare setting (excluding internships).
Specialty RNs (e.g., ER, Inpatient, OB) need at least 1 year of recent experience in that specialty and valid specialty certifications.
Must be fluent in English—able to read, write, and communicate effectively.
