Job Title: Senior Project Manager 930 Location: Los Angeles, CA 90020 - Remote Assignment type: Temporary - 12 months w/ high chance of extension or hire Pay rate: $75-$80/hour
Description:
Manage and oversee one or more IT projects in coordination with agency and private-sector stakeholders.
Define project scope, requirements, deliverables, plans, schedules, and release plans.
Coordinate project activities, resources, risks, quality assurance, and corrective actions.
Lead project presentations, milestone reviews, and final project assessments.
Manage project documentation, change control, training, and customer deliverables.
Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and other project-related research.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws, policies, standards, and procedures.
Support change management, information security, and systems implementation.
Qualifications:
7+ years of progressively responsible project management experience.
4+ years as a Senior PM managing large or complex IT projects.
3+ years in a lead capacity.
Bachelor’s degree required; additional experience may substitute year-for-year.
PMP certification required from the Project Management Institute (PMI); cannot be substituted.
Knowledge of project management, risk management, requirements analysis, QA, systems integration, IT architecture, and SDLC.
Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
Must reside in California or a nearby state.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
3+ years of experience with:
Software development projects
Microsoft Dynamics 365
Azure DevOps
Agile/Scrum
1+ year of Azure Cloud experience.
